ECOA BUSINESS 101
A first-of-its-kind course serving the ethics and compliance field
A new seven-week distance-learning opportunity
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Following in the success of ECOA U.S. Law course and ECOA Ethics 101 course, we now offer ECOA Business 101 (formerly known as ECOA Business School), a seven-session, distance-learning course for anyone working in ethics and compliance who wants to understand the fundamentals of business. From principles of finance, to accounting terms, to applied economics, to revenue recognition, and beyond, this online course will enhance your ability to succeed as an E&C practitioner and help you speak the language of the businesspeople your program serves. ECOA Business 101 features seven webcast sessions, running 90 minutes each.
Those with little or no formal business education are encouraged to attend, as are businesspersons who never studied specific topics covered by the course. In addition to an interactive presentation by that week's instructor, each class will include discussion focused on how to apply the relevant business principles to the work of ethics and compliance officers. A certificate of completion is awarded to those who participate in the sessions and successfully complete a course project.
