INTERCOLLEGIATE BUSINESS ETHICS CASE COMPETITION (IBECC)
September 21-21
Hyatt Bellevue
Bellevue, Washington
Attend the ECOA’s Annual Ethics and Compliance Conference and Participate in the 2011 Intercollegiate Business Ethics Case Competition (IBECC)

The ECOA is excited to partner once again with the Center for Ethics and Business at Loyola Marymount University and the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in the Intercollegiate Business Ethics Case Competition (IBECC). As in past years, IBECC will run simultaneously with the ECOA’s 19th Annual Ethics and Compliance Conference (AECC) in Bellevue, Washington, with individual competitions on Wednesday, September 21, and Thursday, September 22.
IBECC is the world’s most successful academic business ethics case competition and features presentations prepared and delivered by students from higher-learning institutions around the world. Each of this year’s 16 student teams have selected a topic from an area of business ethics and will, in 30-minute presentations, describe both the problem and solution to a panel of three judges. All proposed solutions integrate the legal, financial, and ethical dimensions of the case. The winners of this year’s IBECC invitational competition will be announced at the conference’s Thursday evening dinner and awards ceremony.
WE NEED 55 IBECC VOLUNTEER JUDGES!
All conference attendees are invited to volunteer as a judge for the IBECC competition. Judging involves stepping away from one 75-minute ECOA concurrent session, listening to a 30-minute presentation, and then judging the team on the merits of the case solution. Participating as an IBECC judge allows you to interact with and impact future members of the ethics and compliance field.
