Keith Darcy Addresses International Panel in France

ECOA’s Executive Director Keith T. Darcy spoke on the panel “Keys to Success for Ethical Governance” at the first two-day European Symposium on Ethics and Governance held on November 21, 2011 at the headquarters of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France.
At the symposium, national and international experts gathered to discuss four major topics: performance and compensation, rating agencies, conflicts of interest, and social business. OECD, founded in 1961, with a mission of “better policies for better lives” assists governments to foster prosperity and fight poverty through economic growth and financial stability. The symposium was co-sponsored by the Chair of Law and Business Ethics, University of Cergy-Pontoise. Located 25 kilometers from Paris, University of Cergy-Pontoise offers a master’s degree in ethics and compliance and has a long-standing alliance with ECOA.

Schaefer, Unit Chief, Office of Integrity and Compliance, U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation; Simon Webley, Research Director, Institute of Business Ethics; Jean-Daniel Lainé, Senior Vice-President, Ethics & Compliance, Alstom; Bernard Claude, President of the Ethics Committee, Total; and Pedro Montoya, Chief Compliance Officer, EADS.
