What is the 2008 Annual Business & Ethics Compliance Conference?

The ECOA's fall conference is the largest multi-industry gathering of corporate ethics and compliance practitioners. Sessions are led by prominent subject matter experts and experienced ethics and compliance officers. Conference sessions address the latest issues and provide opportunities for the exchange of innovative ideas and practical, proven methods for implementing and maintaining successful ethics, compliance, and business conduct programs.

As many as 600 attendees from approximately 400 companies attend and participate in our annual conference. Sponsorship Qualifications & Guidelines

 

  • Sponsorship is available on a first come-first served basis to all qualified applicants.

  • A qualifying sponsor must be associated, in whole or in part, with the business, science, or education of business ethics, compliance, business conduct, corporate governance or corporate responsibility.

  • The ECOA management and board of directors reserve the right to deny any request to sponsor an event.

  • A qualifying sponsor will be entitled to all benefits associated with the specific level of event sponsorship as defined or agreed upon, but is not obligated to accept any benefit offered.

  • Event sponsorship benefits are subject to change from event to event, but will be defined prior to the beginning of each event.

  • All sponsorship invoices are due and payable upon receipt. Any charges not paid prior to the event may result in cancellation of sponsorship.

  • All Sponsor representatives must wear their nametag while attending ECOA events and functions.

  • All signage and conference related materials will be produced by the ECOA utilizing sponsor provided logos; no outside signage/materials permitted.

  • No sponsor will be allowed to use the event for the promotion of their company, products or services in any manner other than as specified in the sponsorship prospectus (including unauthorized print materials, signage or solicitation/speeches).

  • No sponsor is permitted to host a hospitality suite or function in direct competition with the ECOA scheduled program or evening events.

  • Event sponsors will not be given access to attendee mailing lists.

  • Sponsors will not receive a speaking spot on the event agenda as a benefit of sponsorship. All speakers, panels and session topics are determined by an independent criteria and a “call for speakers” process.

  • All sponsors will sign an agreement stating that they understand the sponsorship guidelines and give their permission for ECOA to use their logo in event related materials.
