The Realities of Being an Ethics Officer: Making Ethics Part of Your Company Culture

We often talk about “corporate culture” and “a culture of compliance” and the need to have a “strong culture”. But what the heck does “culture” mean?  And, while we all say that corporate culture starts at the top, what does the ethics office have to do with creating it?  This session will use discussion and presentation to look at the importance of culture and how the responsibilities of the ethics officer contribute to it. In addition, we will make a light-hearted (but ultimately serious) analysis of the role of the ethics officer in this context.
