Ethics and Compliance Practices in Latin America Zeke Barrios, Director, Latin America Compliance and Integrity, Kraft Foods Global, Inc. What unique cultural challenges could your ethics and compliance program encounter in Latin America? This session will identify some of these challenges and through an integrated panel discussion suggest insights that may help you deal with them. Panelists will first introduce their respective programs. Next, they will describe three key components of their ethics and compliance programs, namely, training, investigations, and communications with special attention to the difference that local laws and customs make in designing, implementing, and evaluating these activities. Then, they will present their own insights into handling the unique challenges that culture and geography can bring to ethics and compliance initiatives. Lastly, they will encourage participants to share their own insights into ethics and compliance practices in Latin America.
